One of Shakespeare’s later plays, Pericles is a wild romantic tale of adventure that has its young hero traveling by sea to exotic lands. On his epic journey, he encounters, among others, a tyrant king, a wicked stepmother, a young heroine, shipwrecks and pirates. Filled with fantastical characters and locales and some of the most beautiful of Shakespeare’s language, the CLU production will be designed in a dynamic thrust setting by new theatre arts design professor Nate Sinnott. Showtimes will be Thursday, Nov. 12, through Saturday, Nov. 14, 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, Thursday, Nov. 19, and Saturday, Nov. 21, 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2 p.m. Admission is $10; free with CLU I.D.
